BIG FASHION Novi Sad – a new era for a landmark shopping centre

Following the acquisition of the Promenada shopping centre in October of last year, BIG CEE has taken the next step in developing this well-known Novi Sad destination. As of April 10, Promenada officially becomes BIG FASHION Novi Sad, marking a symbolic transition into a new phase of growth—one that includes an even richer mix of tenants and brands, more entertainment, and an enhanced shopping experience.

When BIG CEE announced the acquisition of the shopping centre, which welcomes more than 10 million visitors annually, with an investment of over €177 million, it was clear that ambitious plans were in store for the future of the former Promenada. Not only is this one of the largest shopping centres in the country, but the transaction also represents the biggest investment BIG has ever made globally for a single project acquisition. Moreover, it stands as the largest transaction ever recorded for a commercial property in Serbia. These strong figures from the outset reflect the seriousness with which the company is approaching this project. Rebranding the centre as BIG FASHION serves as a promise to visitors that there will always be something new and exciting waiting for them inside.

For BIG CEE, the acquisition of today’s BIG FASHION Novi Sad shopping centre presented a unique opportunity to further strengthen its market presence, reinforce its brand, and enrich the retail offering of the city of Novi Sad—complementing to the existing BIG Novi Sad retail park. This property not only contributes to the company’s growth but also lays the groundwork for further development of the local community, thanks to its exceptional economic potential and opportunities for improvement, as seen with all previous BIG acquisitions.

To celebrate its new identity, BIG FASHION Novi Sad is hosting a spectacular four-day event filled with exclusive discounts and entertainment, reaffirming its role as a social hub and favourite gathering spot for visitors across the region.
